Juxtapostions: A Short Short Story

Juxtapositions. A walk through the city

Walking and talking they made their way through the city. He looked up while she looked down. When the boy saw a crow sizing them up from a tree as they passed below he thought the girl might like to see and said in an easy voice “look up” and she saw it. They walked some more. When the girl saw a snail slowly and steadily sliding across their path she thought the boy might like to see and said in a low slow voice “look down” and he saw it. They walked and talked like that all day, he looking up and she looking down.
